The Service Of The Longest Night

This service takes place on 21 December and is provided for those who feel lonely at Christmas, those who are missing a loved one or those who just want to take time out from the hustle and bustle of the Christmas period.

The service is very informal with coffee available throughout in the coffee lounge from 7.30 p.m onwards. You can drop in at any time during the service. Stop for a coffee and chat before going in to church or have a coffee and chat afterwards. There is a short act of worship at 8.00 p.m., which you may or may not wish to attend.

There are a number of stations set out around the church.

There is one where you can light a candle for a loved one.

There is also a labyrinth which you can walk around whilst meditating.
